Shelley Malil, actor, was convicted recently for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He was convicted for stabbing his ex girlfriend at least 20 times at her home in 2008.

Malil, 45, was acquitted of residential burglary. His defense attorney Matthew Roberts argued that Malil never intended to kill Beebe, and that the two had a violent relationship where she would try to manipulate men to make them jealous. Defense attorney Matthew Roberts told jurors in his closing arguments there was no doubt Malil went too far when he picked up the kitchen knife after finding Beebe on her patio with another man, but that Malil never intended to kill Beebe.

“I’m sorry, I had no idea,” Malil said. “I saw the pictures for the first time, I was stunned. When I look at those pictures, I still can’t believe the knife I was holding was responsible for all those injuries.”

The Indian born actor is best known for his role as Haziz in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin. The defense attorney left the courtroom without comment. Police escorted Malil to the San Diego County jail, where he will remain held without bond until his Nov. 18 sentencing.

The judge excused one juror after she sent him a note stating that she could not be impartial. The note read: "I believe in karma and believe that the victim deserved this because of her immoral lifestyle."

HAYDEN MOSS has been voted the winner of big brother 2010. 24-year old Hayden managed to win the final HoH competition, which of course meant that he got to chose who to evict out of Lane and Enzo. Moss evicted Enzo off, leaving just him and Lane in line for the $500,000 prize money.


Lane and college student Hayden then faced a grilling from a jury of seven evicted houseguests, about the secret Brigade alliance and on their social gameplay. When the final voting results were announced, it was Hayden who had won with a total of four votes against Lane’s three.

Lane, the runner up who is a oil rig salesman got $50,000 for his efforts whereas 22-year old Britney Haynes also walked away with a prize of $25,000, since she was voted as the favorite houseguest of season 12.

This is what an elated hayden had to say after the victory : "This is nuts! I can't wrap my mind around what just happened. It's insane. I just made half a million dollars and I am pumped. I can't even express what's going on inside my head. I was surprised it was so close. I thought Brendon and Rachel were going to vote on whoever the better competitor was and that didn't happen. They voted on who the better social player was."

michael grimm when a man loves a woman

Yes he is the man, the man who just won America's Got Talent last night! He performed "When a Man loves a Woman" to get to the finals and beat Jackie Evancho in the final showdown. Micheal is now richer by $1 million.

Michael Grimm proved his merit for the title of America’s Got Talent winner as he showed off his versatility while performing the song. He played guitar and sang, showing his skill which was good enough to crown him as the winner. The audience was thrilled by his performance. He not only received a standing ovation from all the three judges but also gave judge Sharon Osbourne goose-bumps with his performance.

Though Fighting Gravity, Jackie Evancho and Prince Poppycock performed really well it was Michael Grimm’s day. The song was written by Melissa Etheridge about her ex-wife Tammy. It looks like Micheal has a great future ahead of him.
